Dewayne Perkins is a New York based Chicago born and raised writer/comedian, who TimeOut New York recently named a Breakout LGBQT Comedian to watch. Dewayne is currently a writer on Michelle Wolf's upcoming Netflix late night show “The Break with Michelle Wolf” and recently wrote for the 2018 White House Correspondents Dinner. He is a former cast member on MTV's “Wild N Out” and was a NBC Stand Up For Diversity 2017 semi-finalist. A DePaul University graduate, Dewayne’s an alumni of the Second City Touring Company, writer/performer of the Second City/Woolly Mammoth collaboration “Black Side of the Moon” and a member of the award winning improv team 3Peat, who’s Comedy Central web short that he wrote, The Blackening, went viral with more than 14 million views.. Dewayne also makes up half of the duo, Bleep that Bleep. Their original shows include Beyonce ft. Jesus and Uncle Tom & Jerry Curl, and their NYTVF "Best Short Form" award winning web series Starving Artists. Dewayne is also a technically trained ballet and hip-hop dancer, performing with the Paris Opera Ballet in their first American tour of the ballet Giselle and Bolero and placing 7th nationally in" Hip Hop Internationals" in Las Vegas.
